Jindabyne Pool Supporter Group since 30 August 2021
“I was pleased to hear that Jindabyne Indoor Pool has recently re-opened after undergoing significant improvements with $2,100,000 funding from the Australian Government Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program allocated in 2021.
The funding was used to upgrade the pool to ensure the pool met safety requirements now and well into the future.
“The re-opening of the pool has also seen a free Fitness & Wellness (FitWell) program, designed to provide and support health, wellness, and fitness benefits, at no cost to participants.
“Congratulations to former Olympic swimmers, Graham Windeatt, FitWell Program Coach and Creator and Nira Windeatt, FitWell Contributor, for bringing this free fitness and wellness program to adults in the community.
“The Jindabyne Pool has been an integral part of the community since 1988, now we will see complimentary health and wellbeing programs such as the FitWell health, wellness and fitness, coaching, learn to swim and rehabilitation benefitting the whole community.
“I wish Graham, Nira and everyone at Jindabyne every success and thank them for their commitment to the Jindabyne community”.
