Resistance Sessions

In all these sessions the aim is to improve your muscular endurance.

All sessions can be printed at the View Session


Muscular Endurance is your foundation resistance.

Benefits include:

  • Increases your metabolic rate

  • Helps reduce body fat

  • Has anti-aging benefits

  • Helps normalise blood pressure

  • Reduces cholesterol and blood fats

  • Increases strength

  • improves appearance

  • Produces stronger tendons and ligaments

Recommendation


If you have not done resistance exercising previously, or not for a while: Start with the 4 exercise program and add exercises from the 8-exercise program as you progress


Sessions


Fitwell 1

You will need: Bench or Ball – adjustable weight dumbbells – step box or similar

4 to 8 exercises with a session duration of xx to xx minutes

The 4-exercise program engages muscles in the upper and core

The 8-exercise program engages muscles in the upper and lower body, and core
